Backyard Design-Build in New Orleans
to begin your backyard transformation
504-584-POOL
Liquid Construction Solutions is a design-build pool and outdoor living contractor based in Kenner, Louisiana. One team designs and builds your whole backyard: the pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, patio cover or screen room, pool deck and hardscape, and the lighting that ties it together, for homes across New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner and the Northshore.
Instead of hiring a designer, a pool company, a carpenter and a concrete crew separately, you work with one company from the first sketch to the final walkthrough, with one team accountable the whole way. Our founders, David Bourg and Mike McSpadden, bring over 40 years of combined experience to every project.
What Design-Build Means for Your Backyard
Design-build means the same team that designs your backyard also builds it. You get one point of contact, one plan and one contract, so the pool, deck, kitchen and covered areas are designed to work together instead of being added one at a time.
- One team from design through construction
- Your pool and outdoor living designed together, and shown to you in 3D before we build
- One written scope and price for the whole project
- Permits, inspections and trades coordinated by our team
- One company to call when you have a question
Everything Your Backyard Needs, Built Together
We plan the whole space as one project: custom gunite pools and spas, outdoor kitchens, patio covers, screen rooms, pool decks and hardscapes, with lighting planned in from the start. Already have a pool? We also renovate existing pools and build the outdoor living around them.
Real Backyards We've Designed and Built
- Metairie, Washingtonian Dr.: a new pool and spa with a fully outfitted outdoor kitchen beside it (premium appliances, plenty of counter space and a built-in sink), plus a patio cover and new pool deck.
- New Orleans, Chalstrom: a reimagined backyard built around a pool remodel: new plaster and tile, coping, a raised wall with scuppers, water and fire bowls, color-changing lighting and a marble deck, along with an outdoor kitchen and patio cover.
- Mandeville, Vendange Pl.: a complete new backyard with a pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, screen room, and pool deck and hardscape.
- Kenner, Australis: a new pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, patio cover and pool deck, designed and built as one project.

Our Design-Build Process
Design-build means one team handles your project from idea to finish, so you are never stuck between a designer and a separate contractor.
- Free consultation. We learn how you want to use the space, your style, and your budget.
- Design in 3D. We design the pool and outdoor living together, and you see your backyard in 3D before we build, so you can refine the layout, finishes and features with confidence.
- Clear proposal and permits. You get a written scope and price. We handle the permits for your city or parish and prepare plans for HOA review where it applies.
- Construction. Excavation, steel, plumbing, electrical, gunite, tile, coping and decking, managed by our team with regular updates along the way.
- Startup and walkthrough. We start up the equipment, balance the water and show you how to run everything.

Yes. We design and build the pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, patio cover, screen room, pool deck and hardscape together, so everything fits and flows as one backyard.

Yes. We renovate existing pools and build outdoor kitchens, patio covers, screen rooms, pool decks and hardscapes around them.
